The first game in the series looks quite a bit different from what you may be use to seeing in a Grand Theft Auto game. Grand Theft Auto is a 2D, top down viewpoint game that follows a series of missions/levels each set in a city with the main objective of scoring a certain number of points which opens the game to harder/higher missions and levels. Rockstar Games has released Grand Theft Auto as freeware back in 2004.
